2011 High Tech on a Trainwreck

 Biblical account of first recorded murder Genesis 4: 1-11.
Today our society refers to it as homicide and continues to record these cases of senseless killings that occur daily. A closer look at the Holy Scriptures and its teaching concerning the error of sinful behavior. The spirit of men continues to ignore God's instruction on maintaining a successful holy lifestyle.
An examination of Cain reveals sinful behavior in several areas.
Anger without cause Genesis 4:5-7.
Lying Genesis 4:9. Irreverence Genesis 4:9 "Am I my brother's keeper?" Apathy, "I don't care about my brother."
Faithless disobedience Hebrews 11:4.

Being my brother's keeper is a measurement of spiritual growth. Jesus said that" you shall love your neighbor as yourself" Matthew 22:37-39. Today apathy and fear have direct effect on apprehension of those who commit homicide and other crimes against members of our community. Weapons of destruction are available from many sources.

Even law enforcement personnel sworn to protect citizens, have been unable to control the killing rampage. Oddly they have contributed to the number of lives lost to violence. There is hope for the the hopeless and temperance for those who are out of control. Accepting the wisdom and teaching of the Holy Spirit and the doctrine of Jesus Christ, has led me to a better life. Why do some reject a more better way of life?
